Clinton Avenue in Tenafly, NJ presents: Visualizing Spirituality, an exhibition of acrylic and ink works on canvas together with augmented reality by artist Yitzchok Moully. The show will be on display from May 1 -28, with a Meet-the-Artist-Reception on Tuesday, May 9, 6:30-8:30 pm, where the artist will hold a special talk about his work called: Visualizing Spirituality – The Power of Our Actions. Yitzchok Moully, who served as a Rabbi for ten years before he discovered his artistic talents and turned to art full time, creates distinctive pieces of contemporary Jewish art that combine the bright, bold colors prevalent in pop art with the timeless and sophisticated images of Judaica and the Jewish people. His aim is to evoke themes from Torah, Kaballah and Chassidut. and make them relevant to a modern generation. His current focus is to illustrate the hidden energy behind our actions. Opening night at FERMÆNTRA brewery in Denver

Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Denver for the opening party of my work at a great local brewery. It was one of those one day, in and out, high energy days. Fueled by coffee from Kaladi Coffee Roasters located across the road, – where I had s show a few years back – we hung the show and got all ready in a few hours. Special thanks to Rabbi Yossi (Serebryanski)  of Chabad @ Denver U for making the event happen.  Rabbi Yossi saw the rotating gallery wall at Fermaentra and had the idea of getting my work up. Well my work us now up for the month of June, if you are local stop by for some really ineradicable craft beer – ask them for my favorite – and enjoy the art. here are photos from the trip...

This will be a first – workshop at a Gala Dinner! I’m excited to be doing a silkscreen workshop at the annual dinner & celebration of the Friendship Circle of Miami. The silkscreen workshops are really catching on, people are really loving them, and this event will take it to the next level.
