This painting is an exploration to capture chaos, not the chaos of chaos theory, but rather the chaos of life, of bumping up against difficulties as we attempt to move forward. It was meant to be a background for a piece on the tranquility of Shabbat, but when the background was complete, it was too strong to use as a background for something else. A reminder that Monday morning 9am we begin again, taking on the world, as only we can.
